Dean – School of Engineering

Dr. Harikrishna Kamatham obtained his B.Tech degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, and later moved to USA to pursue his Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, IL, USA. He has completed his PhD degree in Embedded Systems from SRM University, Chennai, in 2013. His areas of interest include Embedded Systems, Operating Systems, IoT, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Computer Networks, Computer Organization, etc. Being from a family of teachers, he started his teaching career as Teaching Assistant in Southern Illinois University Carbondale, IL, USA. With his immense passion in teaching field, he worked in various engineering colleges in the capacities of Head of the Department, Dean, Vice-Principal and Principal. He received “Best Principal of the Year” award from Secretary, DST, MHRD, Govt. of India, in the year 2020.

Bringing along with him his 21 years of teaching experience, he has joined Malla Reddy University as Professor and  Dean, School of Engineering in 2022. He has published more than 20 papers in National and International conferences and journals. He is Fellow of IETE and Life Member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology. He is also an editorial board member in various reputed international journals.
