Dr. Ravindra Kasa received his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Andhra University, M.E. with Honors from IIT, Roorkee and Ph.D.in the field of Mobile Communications from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is a recipient of GOLD MEDAL from Roorkee for standing first in Masters Degree. He has Engineering teaching experience of over 36 years in various capacities and research experience of over 6 years. Dr Ravindra has more than 25 years of administrative experience.

Dr. Ravindra served as Senior Scientist in “Research and Training Unit for Navigational Electronics” Osmania University from December 2000 to December 2002. He worked as Professor of ECE and PRINCIPAL in Malla Reddy Institute of Technology & Science, Hyderabad(MRITS) for over 17 years from April 2006 to June 2023.

In his 17 years of association with Malla Reddy Institute of Technology and Science as Principal and Professor of ECE, his innovative thinking, able leadership, meticulous planning, dynamism, dedication, diligence and commitment have achieved great laurels for the institution like NBA Accreditation, NAAC Accreditation with A Grade, ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Permanent Affiliation to JNTUH, 2(f) & 12(B) recognition under UGC Act 1956 and all the prestigious Rankings, Ratings and Awards received by the Institution. Under his able guidance, the Institution has progressed continuously to greater heights of success in Academics, Infrastructure, Facilities, Teaching-learning Processes, Training Programmes and Placements. The Alumni were well settled in all over the world and several alumni have established their own Start-up companies.

He was instrumental in establishment of various laboratories and involved in overall administration of the Institutions. He is always considered as a proactive person in the minds of students and staff in nurturing them towards their academic progress. He has been the driving force for the entire institution for organizing National and International Conferences, Seminars, FDPs and related activities.

Prof. Ravindra has established IEEE, ISTE, IETE, CSI Student Professional Chapters in MRITS and has convened several Conferences and Workshops for the benefit of students and staff on the latest advancements in Technology

He is the member of Editorial Boards and Advisory Committees for Conferences and Journals and has reviewed several journals in his field.

Prof. Ravindra has 45 research papers to his credit published in various International, National Journals and Conferences. He co-authored 2 technical reports in the field of GPS. He is the convener for over 50 FDPs and National conferences in different fields of engineering. He delivered more than 100 invited lectures in several colleges in the fields of Electronics and Telecommunication Technology. He is the resource person for 30 audio video lectures in the subject Electronic Devices and Circuits produced by SONET, Andhra Pradesh. He produced 2(two) Ph.Ds and is presently guiding research scholars in the fields of Optical & Mobile Communications, Cellular and Next generation networks, Wireless sensor networks and emerging fields.

Prof. Ravindra received BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE PRINCIPAL award in TELANGANA STATE from ISTE Hyderabad in January 2019. He received EDUCATION LEADERSHIP AWARD – 2013 from KRDWG, New Delhi for his outstanding contribution in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

He acted as visiting Professor of ISTE, New Delhi and advisory committee member for IETE, Hyderabad. He has been a member in Academic Advisory committees and BoS committees of few colleges. He was an Evaluator in the visiting committees of NBA. He is a recognized resource person for delivering lectures on Outcome Based Education (OBE) related to NBA, NAAC etc. He is the Technical Editor for Information Technology Journal. He is life member of ISTE, IETE and SEMCE(I).
