Dean – School of Science

Dr. V. Dhanunjana Chari, the Dean of Sciences at Malla Reddy University has an accomplished profile in research and teaching. He has a Ph.D in Physics and was awarded with Doctorate from Osmania University. He carved his niche in the roles of an Instructor, Mentor and Academic Planner. Having an experience of publishing 12 Research Papers till-date and delivering numerous presentations, he also lends his expertise as a Reviewer of JNGSE, Bulletin of Material science. He has participated in 10 National and International conferences.

He received a Gold Medal for academic merit and excellence during his Master’s degree at Osmania University. His doctoral research was in collaboration with Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI) and his research interests are in Nano Materials, Natural gas storage and transportation. Prior joining Malla Reddy University, he worked as a Senior Lecturer of Physics at Siddhartha P.G & Degree College, Hyderabad from 2003 to 2010 and as Junior Research Fellow at Department of Physics, Osmania University. After joining Malla Reddy Group of Institutions as an Associate Professor in 2015, he ascended the ranks to become Head of the Department of Humanities and Sciences followed by Dean of Sciences.

Also, he excelled in the capacities of a Convener and Chairperson of Science events and International Conferences as such as ICETSTEM-2015 and ICTIEE 2019 in collaboration with IUCEE conducted in Malla Reddy Engineering College. His research bent of mind, accomplishments in reviewing of Research Papers and prowess in institutional administration places him in the forefront of leaders contributing to dignified emergence and growth of Malla Reddy University as a global brand.
