About Central Library

The Central Library of Malla Reddy University is a knowledge hub spread across 13,000 sq. ft. with two floors, designed to provide a stimulating learning environment for students, faculty, and researchers.

The library houses a specialized collection of over 30,700 volumes covering diverse disciplines such as Engineering & Technology, Humanities, Agriculture, Allied Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and Management. The resources include printed books, e-books, CDs/DVDs, and access to national and international journals in both print and electronic formats.

To support digital learning, the Central Library provides access to various e-learning platforms and resources including NPTEL video courses, ePathshala , SWAYAM, and the National Digital Library (NDL), among others initiated by the Government of India.

​

The library is fully automated using Koha Library Management System and has implemented RFID technology for efficient services such as self-issue and return kiosks, WEB-OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), and online renewal facilities.

For the convenience of students and staff, branch libraries are established in:

• School of Engineering.

• School of Agricultural Sciences.

• School of Allied Health Sciences.

• School of Management.

• School of Sciences.​
