About the Library

The Central library spreads over an area of 13000 sq feet’s with two floors. It has specialized collection around 25000 of books in Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Agriculture, Allied health sciences, Social Sciences and Management ranging from printed books, e-books, and CDs\DVDs. The Central Library subscribes to national and international journals in print and e-Journals. The library Digital library facility and NPTEL video courses, ePGpathashala, Swayam Programme, National Digital Library (NDL), and other E-Learning resources initiated by the Government of India. Central Library is using Koha software for Library automation and has implemented RFID technology with self-issue and return kiosk, WEB-OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), and online renewal facility. And the MRU Central Library arranged for the students and staff for the easy accesses of the library resources, the branch libraries are located at

1) School of Agriculture Sciences,
2) School of Allied Health Sciences.
3) School of Management/Commerce. 

Working Hours :
The Library works on all days of the year except a few holidays of national and social
importance.

Week days : 9.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Sundays ; Holidays : Closed
During vacation : 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
