IIC QUARTER-I ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2025-2026
DEMODAY/IDEASHOWCASE-AIGNITE 2K25
Aignite 2K25– Demo Day was organized by the Microsoft Learn Student Club (MLSC) under the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Malla Reddy University Hyderabad on 10th October 2025. Held at the SOE-II Auditorium, the event marked the culmination of The Month ofAI — a series dedicated to fostering innovation and technical growth among students. The Demo Day brought together university dignitaries, industry experts, faculty, and over 230 student participants, showcasing innovative AI-driven prototypes developed during the Aignite 2K25 Hackathon. The agenda featured keynote talks by industry professionals, live project demonstrations, and a recognition ceremony for top-performing teams, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and technological excellence within the MRUH community.

AWARENESS WORKSHOP ON “ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INNOVATION AS CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
An Awareness Workshop on “Entrepreneurship & Innovation as Career Opportunities” was successfully organized by the Department of Cyber Security, IoT & ECE, Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, on 06 January 2025 at 10:00 AM in Ground floor auditorium, SOE-2, MRUH, under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students about entrepreneurship, innovation, and start up ecosystems as viable and impactful career pathways, especially in emerging technology domains such as cyber security, IoT, and electronics.

MOTIVATIONAL STORY-EXPERT SESSION
The Department of Data Science organized a Motivation Expert Session on October 29, 2025, aimed at inspiring students to develop a forward-thinking mindset and strengthen their personal and professional growth journey. The session was delivered by Mr. Sravan Kumar Ramadugu, a dynamic and visionary CEO known for his leadership excellence and commitment to empowering young talent. He captivated the audience by sharing his personal journey of perseverance, innovation, and success, offering a deep insight into the qualities needed to excel in today’s competitive world.

Session on “AI and Industry 4.0 Tools for Innovators and Entrepreneurs”
On 26th Septembet 2025, the Department of Information Technology, VR & AR, BCT along with MRU – Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club at Malla Reddy University organized a technical workshop titled “Workshop on AI and Industry 4.0 Tools for Innovators and Entrepreneurs” under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

Internal Hackathon-SIH 2025
The Internal Hackathon held on 10th September 2025 at Malla Reddy University provided a dynamic platform for 19 teams (112 students) to demonstrate innovation and problem-solving in Cyber Security, IoT, and ECE. After rigorous evaluation, 9 teams were shortlisted to represent the university at SIH 2025—from Cyber Security (3+1), IoT (3+1), and ECE (1). The event not only identified promising solutions but also fostered teamwork, design thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset essential for driving Industry 4.0 and Digital India initiatives.
SESSION ON ACHIEVING PROBLEM–SOLUTION FIT.
As part of the IIC 8.0 Quarter 1 Calendar Activities, the School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences organized a structured innovation-focused session titled "Session on Achieving Problem–Solution Fit." The activity aimed to help students identify real-life health and lifestyle problems within the campus and refine their ability to design solutions that are practically feasible, scientifically valid, and aligned with actual user needs.

BOOT CAMP ON PROBLEM SOLVING / IDEATION
The School of Management and Commerce organized One day Workshop on Boot Camp on Problem Solving / Ideation” on 5th January, 2026. Aimed to help students improving the problem-solving skills and fostering creative and innovative thinking through systematic ideation tools and techniques, introduction of design thinking and analytical frameworks for effective decision making. The Session was addressed by Dr.Mahesh Chandra sir, in today’s rapidly changing business environment, organizations are not merely looking for degree holders—they are looking for problem solvers, innovators, and decision-makers. Every manager, entrepreneur, or leader is faced with complex challenges that demand analytical thinking, creativity, and a structured approach to solutions.

SESSION ON “IPR BASICS FOR INNOVATORS & ENTREPRENEURS”
On 1st November 2025, the School of Sciences at Malla Reddy University organized an insightful sessionon “IPR Basics for Innovators & Entrepreneurs” under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The session commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and guests, and an introduction to the theme of the session -Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and its relevance in today’s world of innovation and entrepreneurship.

NATIONAL INNOVATION DAY – GOOGLE CLOUD COLLABORATION LAUNCH
Malla Reddy University, under the aegis of its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), celebrated National Innovation Day on 15th October 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the Missile Man of India and a symbol of innovation, learning, and inspiration for youth.
Marking this special occasion, the University hosted the launch of India’s largest “Digital Campus on Google Cloud”, a historic collaboration between the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions and Google Cloud. The partnership aims to integrate cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics into the academic framework, empowering students and faculty with cutting-edge digital skills.

AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON 'IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION FOR NATION BUILDING' (NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY, 2025)
The Department of Freshman Engineering, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized an awareness programme on “Importance of Education for Nation Building” on 12th November 2025 to commemorate National Education Day. The event was attended by a large cohort of first-year engineering students and was graced by the presence of the university's leadership.


NATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP DAY 2025
The Department of Freshman Engineering, in a dynamic collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), proudly celebrated National Entrepreneurship Day on 9th November 2025. The event was strategically designed to ignite the spirit of innovation and enterprise among the student community. While first-year ECE students formed the core audience, the programme's message was universal, resonating with future engineers, managers, and business leaders across the university
