DEPARTMENT’S VISION:
To establish a center of academic and clinical excellence in Respiratory Therapy by fostering advanced learning, translational research, and multidisciplinary collaboration aimed at enhancing respiratory health and critical care outcomes at national and global levels.

DEPARTMENT’S MISSION:

To deliver a competency-based education framework that equips students with advanced theoretical knowledge, technical proficiency, and clinical decision-making skills in respiratory care.
To promote a culture of research and innovation in respiratory therapy, encouraging scholarly inquiry and evidence-based practice.
To facilitate interdisciplinary training and collaboration with departments of Pulmonology, Intensive Care, and Emergency Medicine for holistic patient management.
To engage in community outreach and health promotion initiatives that elevate public awareness on respiratory health and disease prevention.
To prepare globally competent respiratory therapists through curriculum integration, clinical exposure, and international best practices.
