Background of the Conference
The landscape of crime and investigation is being reshaped by rapid advances in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and data connectivity. Traditional forensic techniques alone are no longer sufficient to meet the complexity of crimes that increasingly intersect with cyberspace. There is a growing need for integrated approaches that blend forensic science, information technology, and cybersecurity to ensure credible evidence collection and effective justice delivery.
The International Conference on Advances in Forensics and Cyber Technologies (ICFACT-25) is conceived as a platform that unites researchers, academicians, law-enforcement professionals, digital forensic experts, and industry innovators to discuss current developments and emerging trends across the forensic and cyber domains. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, promote knowledge exchange, and highlight innovations that can strengthen investigative capabilities and digital evidence handling.

Organized by the Department of Digital Forensics, Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, ICFACT-25 will feature keynote addresses from distinguished experts, technical sessions, paper presentations, and workshops covering a wide range of areas — beginning with Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence in Investigations, extending to Forensic Biology, Toxicology, Crime Scene Management, and Data Privacy.

By creating a shared space for dialogue and discovery, ICFACT-25 seeks to advance the frontiers of forensic and cyber sciences, inspire cross-sector partnerships, and contribute to a safer and more technologically resilient society.
