Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

​

  • PEO 1:   Graduates will establish themselves as competent IoT professionals by applying domain-specific knowledge in sensors, communication, and data analytics to solve real-world challenges.

  • PEO 2: Graduates will engage in lifelong learning through advanced studies, research, certifications, and continuous upskilling in emerging IoT technologies such as AI, cloud, and cybersecurity.

  • PEO 3: Graduates will demonstrate ethical responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and effective communication in developing inclusive IoT-based solutions for diverse domains.

  • PEO 4: Graduates will apply modern tools, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills to develop secure, sustainable, and scalable IoT products and services for societal and industrial benefit.

Program Outcomes (POs)

 

  • PO1 : Engineering Knowledge Understand and use mathematics, engineering fundamentals, and IoT specific knowledge for developing technical solutions in areas involving sensing, communication, embedded systems, and automation for challenging problems.

  • PO2 : Problem Analysis - Ability to identify, formulate, and analyze engineering problems in the domain of smart devices, network protocols, and intelligent edge/cloud systems to arrive at appropriate solutions based on analysis and evaluative thinking.

  • PO3 : Design/Development of Solutions - Ability to design and develop sustainable, secured, and user-centric IoT solutions for smart cities, smart healthcare, smart manufacturing, or smart energy systems considering the broader societal and environmental constraints.

  • PO4 : Research and Investigation - Undertake investigations and perform data analysis by employing experiments, statistical models, and simulation tools to enhance the performance and veracity of IoT systems.

  • PO5 : Modern Tool Usage - Employ current engineering and ICT tools such as cloud-based IoT platforms, programmable microcontrollers, edge AI and digital twins to create and provide evidence for Intelligent systems.

  • PO6 : The Engineer and the World - Utilize your contextual knowledge of the social, ethical, legal and environmental impacts of implementing connected systems in their real-world context.

  • PO7 : Ethics and Professional Commitment - Utilize professional ethical responsibility when designing, implementing and maintaining IoT systems in accordance with data privacy, safety, and global interoperability practices.

  • PO8 : Teamwork and Collaboration - Function successfully as an independent individual or in a leadership role in a multi-disciplined manner, as part of a team, to create and integrate end-to-end IoT applications in line with industry 4.0 and 5.0.

  • PO9 : Communication Skills - Effectively communicate complexities of the technical data and system architectures and effectively convey these messages to include engineers, users and stakeholder groups through design documentation, dashboards and visualizations.

  • PO10 : Project Management and Innovation - Demonstrate an understanding of project planning, entrepreneurship and innovation in the management of scalable IoT projects for an industry or societal purpose.

  • PO11 : Lifelong Learning and Tech Adaptability - Participate in lifelong learning and education relevant to emerging areas of IoT such as machine learning, and cybersecurity.

  • PSO2: Use cloud/edge platforms, AI/ML, and data analytics tools to implement scalable, intelligent, and secure IoT solutions.

  • PSO3: Innovate and integrate IoT with emerging domains such as smart cities, healthcare, agriculture, and Industry 5.0 to deliver sustainable and impactful solutions.
