M.Sc. - Clinical Research and Experimental Medicine
About CREM

The Department of Clinical Research and Experimental Medicine (CREM) is dedicated to advancing evidence-based healthcare by integrating clinical research, experimental medicine, regulatory sciences, and translational research. The department prepares students with the scientific knowledge and practical skills required to contribute to the development of safe, effective, and innovative healthcare interventions.
Clinical research is the systematic investigation of new drugs, medical devices, diagnostic tools, treatment strategies, and healthcare interventions in human participants to evaluate their safety, efficacy, and quality. Every medicine and medical technology used in modern healthcare has undergone rigorous clinical research before reaching patients.
The CREM program combines theoretical learning with practical exposure in Clinical trial management, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory affairs, Clinical data management, Biostatistics, Medical writing, and Research ethics. Students gain hands-on experience through hospital-based research, internships, industry interactions, and collaborative research projects, preparing them for careers in pharmaceutical industries, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), hospitals, academic institutions, and regulatory agencies.
