About

School of Agricultural Science academic program has been framed with a balanced semester-based course structure & curricula which promote exploration, innovation, and research. To reorient graduates of agriculture and allied subjects for ensuring and assuring employability in various Institutes, R & D Organizations & Industries in the country and develop entrepreneurs for emerging knowledge intensive agriculture.
 

This program, in turn, will be helpful for employment in various Institutes, R & D Organizations & Industries in the country.

 

Here are a few ways we are making this possible:
 

  • On-Campus Training Instructional farms, crop museums, and herbal gardens are just a few of the facilities we have that give our students live experience of what they are learning.

  • RAWEP A pioneering program, the Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme involves 90 days of training in rural farms where the students get a more hands-on experience.

  • Multi-Disciplinary Approach For a well-rounded education in the field of agriculture, we include courses on a variety of subjects including agricultural economics, genetics, bio-technology and rural development.

  • Student READY (Rural and Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Yojana)

 

This course is for individuals Who have interest in agriculture may opt B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture programme which is a great alternate to the B.E/B/Tech/ Agriculture Engineering. Since India is an agrarian country this field will never run out of job opportunities. To be honest qualified professionals are always valued when it comes to agriculture sector.

MallaReddy University encourages students after completion of their Graduation degree to pursue higher education in various Universities including abroad universities in countries such as USA, Australia, Canada, UK, Ireland and Italy to quote few.

The institution has established close association with several universities abroad manly to facilitate our students to pursue their MS program and also for short term internships during semester break wherever possible. The list of such universities is given below.

The main objective of such a program is to provide career counseling and guidance to our students within the college as they are normally in the habit of rushing to several agencies for this purpose.Students desirous of pursuing their higher studies abroad are advised to contact the following faculty for necessary information and guidance

Welcome to the School of Agricultural Sciences at Malla Reddy University. I extend this welcome with assurance that we are committed to providing you quality education and valuable practical experience in a collegial environment.

The world faces many unique challenges and it is the mission of our university to find solutions for feeding our world, protecting human and environmental health, stewarding our agricultural resources and enriching the lives of youth and families.

At SOAS, we provide a conducive teaching-learning environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities that has enabled us to attract students from across the country. Participation and active engagement of students in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and community service considerably enhance students’. Regular curriculum renewal through drawing best practices on-going review of student learning outcomes are the hallmark of our teaching-learning practices that prepares them for careers in a growing job market. There is an increasing demand for graduates with degrees in agriculture and related fields and SOAS is here to meet that demand.

 

SOAS offers a diverse range of academic degree programs and students benefit from our faculty members’ expertise in teaching, research and extension.
